Color and Special Effect Technologies

Differentiate Your Products
Custom colors and effects differentiate products in crowded segments. Fantasia offers a broad palette of color services, from color matching to custom compounding, and we also offer technologies ranging from molded-in color to custom coloration of already molded parts. Fantasia Color and Special Effect Technologies are intended for use only with engineering plastics from Bayer, including polycarbonate, polycarbonate blends and thermoplastic polyurethanes.

AURA® Color Infusion Technology
AURA color infusion technology truly allows you to color parts on demand. Apply color to one - or a million and one - already molded or extruded parts with AURA infusion technology.

FARIA® Film Insert Molding (FIM) Technology
FARIA FIM technology takes your design to the next level by allowing the addition of custom graphics through the use of thin films that can be printed with any pattern, design, graphic, or even soft-touch and fabric-like textures. These decorated films are then incorporated directly into your parts.

LEDA® Compounded Color Technology
LEDA compounded color technology adds the colorants and special effect additives right in the pellet to yield molded-in colors and special effects such as sparkle, shimmer, pearlescence, glow-in-the-dark and metallic appearance.

MILENA® Color Concentrates for Special Applications
MILENA color concentrate technology delivers the industry's most vibrant and versatile colors for special applications such as CDs and DVDs, without the hassles usually associated with coloring Optical Data Storage (ODS) media.

IMAGIO® Coatings Technology
IMAGIO coatings technology offers superior metallic finishes, a broad range of colors, and even the ability to add a soft-touch finish to plastic parts.
