Color On-The-Spot with AURA® Infusion Technology and Radco Industries

So you need 100 parts colored in that just-right shade of blue, and you need them yesterday. Sure, you can send those parts out to be infused with the color you want—and waste the time and money of shipping the parts back and forth in the process. Or you could add that perfect color in-house, save time, eliminate shipping charges, and still get the support you need—when you need it.
Seems like one very colorful dream? It isn't, if your company is licensed by BMS to practice AURA® infusion technology. For you, an exciting new opportunity empowers your company to place AURA infusion technology systems right next to your production operations. Dramatically shorten turnaround times and help eliminate shipping fees—even potentially reduce internal costs.
A recent licensing agreement with Radco Industries helps make it possible. This Toledo, Ohio-based firm of systems design specialists offers customized AURA infusion technology equipment, shop-floor technical support, the ability to produce color formulations and color matches on various substrates, even operator training. Run products once—then repeat when needed, or go back and customize the color—all based on supply-and-demand considerations.
Ideal for small color runs, AURA infusion technology is a smart, effective solution for adding quick, permanent color to customized parts made through injection molding, extrusion or thermoforming. It allows you to color thermoplastic parts made from clear, translucent or opaque resins after they've been produced. Parts are placed in a heated enclosure, where a mostly-aqueous dispersion of dye and a polymer-friendly surfactant penetrate the part. Place the part in the coloring solution until the right depth of color is achieved. Then stand back and enjoy the results!
With AURA infusion technology as a part of your in-house operations—and with Radco Industries at your side—you get color on-the-spot. And inventory that's cost-effective and customizable.
